Everyone looks like their parents.

When a newborn baby comes everyone asks:who does he or she look like?
Some children have their mother's eyes and nose but father's hair.Some look like their granny.

  Every child gets some qualities from his/her mother and some from father. Thatswhy we look like our parents.

  The beginning of a new human starts with the fertilization of an egg cell with a sperm cell. Fathers have sperm cells and mothers have egg cells.
    

When an egg cell and a sperm cell meet , a new life begans.  An embryo  grows inside mother's stomach, in the womb.There he/ she gets everything he/ she needs for developing. It  is called pregnancy.

The baby is connected with his/her mother .A mother's blood carries  nutrients to the placenta through the blood vessels in the umbilical cord.
The babies are moving themselves all the time. Sometimes they kick with their legs and sometimes they put their thumbs into the mouth.

Then after 38 weeks the baby will born. At birth the baby is pushed out. After a baby is born, it is still attached to the placenta by the umbilical cord.Immediately after the birth the umbilical cord is clamped and cut.Then he/she begans to breath and eat.
