Different plants

Look how differently the plants grow  in  the forest, in the desert and in water!

Wood-sorrels grow in fir-woods. With wide leaves they catch sun light.
They roots branch right under the mould.

Cactuses- highly adaptable plants are rather recent additions to the plant world. All cactuses are succulent .

Cactuses grow in the deserts.

There is a little rain in the deserts.
Their roots  are  very deep.
Leaves of the cactuses have turned into thorns to protect the plant from drying.

White water-lilies grow in water. Their roots grow very deep in the mud. Wide leaves and blooms swim on the sheet of water. White water-lilies have long stalks, that reach to bottom.

PLANTS CAN LIVE IN THE PLACE, WHAT SUITS THEM.
