Knights were known by their coats of
arms. Coats of arms were attached
to horses. They were also hung on the walls of knights' castles in the
most visible and important places.
Coats of arms were of different shapes. Some were very elaborate, and
others simpler. The design on a coat of arms represented the character
of the knight to whom it belonged.

What might your coat of arms look like? Draw it here.
Of course it was important for knights
to keep clean. After all, what
good is a stinky knight? How did knights wash themselves? Who heated
their bath water for them, and who brought them their soap?
Look at the picture on the left and describe.
