Apes like people
Human beings and apes have more in common than just appearance. Here are
some stories about apes:

PLAYING BALL
The young ape was bored. He took a ball and went out to see his friends.
They began to play ball. The young apes good mood pleased the ape
mothers and ape fathers also. They came out to play as well. Now it
became really fun. The older and younger monkeys played together until
it got dark outside.
The story ends with the whole ape family going to eat dinner together.

Does this sound familiar? Of course there are differences too. For
example, would your parents be willing to spend a whole evening playing
with you?

THE LOST SON
The ape mother had been searching for her son everywhere, but could not
find him.She looked behind trees, in the grass, asked others, but still
nothing. She thought that she would never see her child ever again. She
closed her eyes and cried loudly. When her son heard her loud call of
distress, he quickly came out of his hiding place. He crept up to his
mother and gave her a hug. The ape mother was overjoyed to see her son.
She jumped in the air and clapped her hands .
