THE LIVING CONDITIONS OF PREHISTORIC PEOPLE
Prehistoric people learned more and more. It was no longer necessary for
them to invent what their fathers and grandfathers had already created.
People stayed together for longer - families were built. This way
fathers could teach their sons how to make fire, how to build a bear
trap and what sort of medicine to put on a wound if one had been injured
in battle.
People built houses and no longer slept in a different place each night.
Look at the pictures and describe how prehistoric people lived and what
their homes were made of.
Which
of these homes was:
- strongest ..................................................
- warmest ...................................................
- easiest to build ....................................................

clay, made holes in them, and kept water there.
