People learned how to make bread. Whereas in prehistoric times food was
only cooked over a fire, now cooking took place in special ovens
designed for that purpose.




Markets looked much as they do nowadays. People sold, bought and
exchanged goods. In antiquity money, with which one could buy goods, was
also invented.
