Have you ever seen any moving book?
If you opened the book, you saw tridimensional picture and you were able to move puppets with cartonribs.
Why don't you make yourself exactly alike box theatre?

Box theatre

1.For the beginning, you need a big shoebox. You can make a theatre stage of it.

1.Take the box, so the bottom would be on your side.
2.On the bottom, draw theatre stage's boundary-line and paint it.
3.If the paint is dry, cut the stagehole out.
4.Leave up and down a little bit box bottom, so your theatre will stick together.
5.Cut out the upper side of the box, so you will have room for changing the decorations.
6. You have to cut holes on the box sides, so you can move actors and put in the moving decorations.

2.Now you need to draw decorations. Exactly like in the real theatres, you can make changeable decorations and pictures for the boxtheatre. But first, you need to know which show you will play.

1.Take some sheets of strong paper or carton.
2.Cut fitting pieces what can hang from top of box so the top side of pieces stay edge of box.
3.Draw some pictures on them, what you are going to change.
If you are planning to make a house on the stage too, then you may cut in window or door on some pictures..

3.For the next thing, you should make moving stagedecorations and puppets of carton. Stick the long paperribs on them, so you could move them on the stage.
