So the old man walked through the forest but didn't get  a split  log.
He went back home .His children were feeling cold and his wife was ill. He couldn't make   even hot tea to them..

All the trees wanted to live and see the beautiful world.

He was very anxious and unhappy.

Suddenly a man -moss-grown and covered with a grey peeled birch bark.

He asked : "Why are you so bothered my friend?"

The old man understood that this is a "forest - man" himself."Why shouldn't I worry? My children are feelig cold ,my wife is ill and I couldn't make some hot tea for her. All the trees in the forest begged not to cut     them .I couldn't touch them.What can I do now?"
